The Federal Election Commission still doesn’t have a copy of Former Congressman Ed Case campaign finance report from the end of the year.

The report was due at the end of January, and Case said that he filed it. He even provided a copy of the report to Civil Beat (read a related article).

In order for a U.S. Senate candidate’s quarterly report to get to the FEC, it first must be processed through the Senate Public Records office. But a staffer there told DC808 on Monday that her office “definitely does not have it.”

In an email to DC808 earlier this month, Case said that the report was “signed and mailed by January 31.”
