A web chat hosted by the White House Initiative for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders is now under way. DC808 is one of 87 participants signed on thus far. The chat is aimed at addressing issues that face Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.

Here’s the latest from the moderator: “Someone asked a question regarding working with (Hawaiian) elders, which is a very good question, as there are a high proportion of older persons in many AAPI communities, and so it is an increasing concern.”
