Kiss that lychee and mango crop goodbye.

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather warning: More lightning storms and hail coming to Southeast Oahu. Small pellets are already falling in Aina Haina.

Heavy rain is expected to continue through noon. The weather service released the following statement:

“Frequent lightning will accompany the storms along with the strong potential for continued flooding. Anyone participating in or planning outdoor activities should plan to remain indoors in a safe place throughout the duration of the storms. Small hail is also possible.”

We’ve put together a storm story. Check it out here.
