Esther Kiaaina (pictured below), a Democrat in the race for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District seat, has named estate planning lawyer Jo-Ann Adams her campaign manager.

Adams, who is a Waikiki resident, brings to the campaign strong ties to the Democratic Party of Hawaii, where she is regarded as a primary lobbyist for the civil-unions bill that became law more than a year ago. She also brings years of project management and information technology experience as a former consultant for IBM and Boeing Computer Services.
