The case involving seven Honolulu Police Department officers accused of running an overtime scam is back in the headlines.

Officer Brian Morris had pleaded guilty to tampering with a government record, and no contest to record tampering. A judge granted him a deferral this week. That means the misdemeanor convictions won’t appear on his record if he stays out of trouble for a year.
