The Department of Agriculture money will be used to expand classroom space, and to build a soccer field and a covered basketball court. The school will also refinance existing debt with the loan money, according a statement from the Hawaii delegation.
“This loan from the federal government recognizes the good work of the teachers and staff at Innovations to educate Big Island keiki in a non-traditional environment,” Akaka said in a statement.
