Dan Davidson, the executive director of the Land Use Commission, is retiring, according to Pacific Business News.
The commission is charged with making decisions about the appropriate uses of state lands. Currently, it’s deliberating on whether to grant D.R. Horton’s petition to reclassify 1,500 acres of agricultural land for urban use for the Hoopili development.
The Abercrombie administration has yet to announce his replacement.
