HMSA Proposes Health Insurance Premium Hike

The Hawaii Medical Service Association — aka HMSA — wants to hike health insurance premiums 3.8 percent for small businesses.

The increase would affect about 84,000 small business members, according to Pacific Business News. The request is pending before the state’s Insurance Division.
