The Honolulu Police Community Foundation has offered the Police Department $25,000 to buy 16 new “electric guns” plus extras like audio/video cameras and four-year warranties.
The City Council is being asked to accept the gift on behalf of the HPD. Of note: The foundation’s president is former HPD chief and former council member Lee Donohue.
