Laie residents are out in full force at Laie Elementary School. A long line was already snaking around the cafeteria building before 6 p.m.

One woman chanted “Romney, Romney,” as she headed for the line. Blue yard signs in support of Mitt Romney lined a few nearby lawns.

A trio of musicians were set up along the highway in front of the neighborhood movie theater, carrying Romney signs and singing music, encouraging drivers to honk in support.
