Lawmakers to Don Plastic Bag Leis

Supporters of the single-use bag bill will congregate at the YWCA on Richards Street Friday to make plastic leis in support of SB 2511 and HB 2260. 

They will then present them to legislators at the “Art of the Capitol” event.

The lei making event will last from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. – and then on to the Capitol Rotunda for the presentation at 6 p.m.
