Two House committees will meet to consider the regulatory structure for a high-voltage electric transmission undersea cable between islands.

Two House committees will meet to discuss a bill regarding animal cruelty and dog breeding.

Three Senate committees will meet to weigh establishing a puuhonua, or wellness center, on the site formerly used by Kulani Correctional Center.

Two House committees will meet to, among other things, address a measure implementing the recommendations of a mortgage foreclosure task force.

Two House committees will meet to take up a bill that requires non-Hawaii owners of vacation rentals to retain local management.

House Transportation will meet to take up bills that exempt certain projects from the EIS process, repeal ethanol requirements for gas and allow limited scanning and retention of personal info from Hawaii ID cards and licenses.
