A selective list of bills and briefings Friday at the Capitol:

• Two Senate committees will meet to hear a bill requiring the DOE and the Hawaii High School Athletic Association to develop a concussion awareness program.

• Senate Health will meet to, among others things, consider a bill allowing amended birth certificates for persons who have undergone a gender transition.

• Two Senate committees will meet in order to listen to a bunch of measures regarding broadband and cable television.

• One of those committees will then meet to take up more broadband and telecommunications measures, cyberbullying and cybercrime.
