The city’s Department of Parks and Recreation will implement its long-awaited online camping permit reservation system this week.

“The online system offers flexibility, increases efficiency and reduces the need to stand in line for camping permits.” DPR Director Gary Cabato said in a press release. “We continue to look at ways to further improve access and efficiency.”

Permits will no longer be issued at Satellite City Halls, though they’ll still be available at the Fasi Municipal Building downtown.
