The brouhaha over Michael Champley, interim appointee to the Public Utilities Commission, appears to have blown over.

After questions were raised about Gov. Neil Abercrombie‘s handling of the appointment, Champley was unanimously approved this morning for a full term by Senate Commerce and Consumer Affairs. His nomination now goes to the full Senate for a final vote.
