Seems like there was an interesting meeting last night in Kailua, where residents talked to City Council member Ikaika Anderson about his bill to limit commercial vendors at Windward beach parks.

According to our partners at KITV:

“We have heard from some of our businesses who want concessions. We have also heard from some of our residents who want to the ability to rent a watercraft, kayak and stand up paddle board and to be able to enjoy the day with their family,” said Anderson.

Anderson said it will likely award permits to the highest bidder.
