Civil Beat editor John Temple has two new stories up on the site today from the poll we conducted last week.

  • First, 55 percent of voters polled say that there will not be less traffic congestion in 2030 with rail than there is today. Thirty percent say there will be less traffic. The city has acknowledged that traffic will be worse in the future than it is today, even with rail.
  • Second, 44 percent of voters polled say the media coverage of rail has been biased, with 36 percent saying it’s been fair. Of that 44 percent, 32 percent say the media’s biased in favor of rail, and 12 percent say the bias is against rail.
