After Face-to-Face Interviews, ILWU Endorsing Mayor Today

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union is announcing its pick for mayor this morning at 10:30 a.m.

Lest you think this is just another in a long line of union endorsements, the ILWU is touting one aspect of its announcement that’s unique: The union interviewed all three leading candidates face to face.

In an email to media, the ILWU noted that it has endorsed Kirk Caldwell, Peter Carlisle and Ben Cayetano for offices in the past.
