A religious exemption for House Bill 2569 — a measure which makes adjustment to Hawaii’s civil unions law — passed conference committee Friday, shortly before a 6 p.m. deadline.
The House and Senate conferees agreed to amended language for HB 2569, but as of late Friday (April 27) the details of the amendment were not yet available.
