The median asking price for Honolulu businesses in the first quarter of 2012 was $250,000, a 17 percent decline from the same time last year, according to a report from BizBuySell.com. The median asking price for Honolulu businesses in the first quarter of 2011 was $300,000.

Businesses listed for sale in Honolulu had median revenue of $291,618, down 45 percent from $535,000 for the same period last year.
