Tulsi Gabbard and Mazie Hirono got the Sierra Club’s endorsement on Sunday (April 22), but their chief opponents, Mufi Hannemann and Ed Case, tweeted out their on Earth Day thoughts just the same.

Hannemann (@MufiHannemann, 540,739 followers) had no less than five Earth Day messages, including this one:

The candidate also picked up the endorsement of the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots and IBEW Local 1357.

Case (@EdCaseHawaii, 1,719 followers) tweeted a link to his Agenda #8: Protecting Our Earth. (Excerpt: “Climate change is real.  …”)

Case also took the weekend to point out what he says is growing criticism of Hirono’s decision to duck major TV debates with him.
