A bill that is key to implementing an overhaul of the state’s charter school system cleared a major hurdle this morning.
The proposed law would require the Ed Board to hire a transition coordinator to coordinate implementing the sweeping reform measure. It passed conference committee unanimously today.
This sets up both pieces of legislation — the omnibus bill and its financial assistant — for final votes this week.
