Legislature to Honor Sen. Akaka

Sen. Dan Akaka will be honored by the state Senate and House Tuesday (April 3) to congratulate him on his selection for the Harry S. Truman Award by the National Guard Association of the United States.

The award is for those who have made “sustained contributions of exceptional and far-reaching magnitude to the defense and security of the United States in a manner worthy of recognition at the national level.”
