But help is on the way.
Lawmakers are still hammering out the state budget bill, but they have agreed to triple the corporation’s budget to $350,000. Haraguchi told Civil Beat that this would be enough for him to hire two additional staff — a secretary and a program officer. The budget also covers operating expenses.
