Heavy rail construction will begin Monday, according to the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation. Kiewit will start digging holes and building columns in East Kapolei near Farrington Highway.
New HART chief Dan Grabauskas called it a “significant milestone” for the project and “a great day for Oahu.”
