“In contrast, 100% of the donations I received last quarter were from individual hard-working Americans like you who believe that we need to change our government,” he said in an email release Wednesday (April 18).
“It’s ironic that Charles Djou criticizes the tax system for taking care of special interests while Congressional Republicans have steadfastly refused to ask millionaires, billionaires, and oil companies to pay their fair share,” said Richard Rapoza, director of communications for the Hanabusa campaign, in response. “And he talks about fairness after supporting the continuation of the Bush Tax cuts that benefitted the richest of the rich in our nation.”
Rapoza added that Djou has received PAC money in the past.
