No more love for Dog?

Our Entertainment blog reports that Hawaii-based Duane “Dog” Chapman’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter” series has been canceled by the A&E cable network after eight seasons.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a network spokesman confirmed the cancellation on Monday.

The series had become valuable for the network, with versions broadcast in Germany and New Zealand. But family drama lately had raised questions about who would remain on the cast.

Looks like that’s a moot issue now.
