Arizona Accepts That Obama Was Hawaii-Born

The state of Arizona has ended its quest to learn whether President Barack Obama really was born at Kapiolani hospital in 1961. (Note: He was.)

Statement from Josh Wisch, special assistant to the Hawaii Attorney General:

Regarding the inquiry from the Arizona Secretary of State, Ken Bennett, requesting a verification of birth for President Obama from the State of Hawaii, Department of Health, the matter has been resolved. We have received information from Secretary Bennett that satisfied our requirements, and have therefore provided his office with a verification of birth for President Obama. 

Now, as to whether Arizona accepts that Mitt Romney was born in Michigan in 1947 — well, we don’t have any further information to provide at this time!
