Hawaii’s teachers union is using Facebook to push the ongoing re-vote on the contract HSTA members shot down in January.
The most recent post lists a few “facts” on why not voting at all is a bad choice.
The post also implicitly acknowledges the Attorney General’s position that the contract no longer has legal standing. “FACT: If teachers ratify, there is no law preventing the Governor from saying yes.”
The voting period, which started Thursday after a series of informational meetings around the state, ends Tuesday.
