Fifteen of the 26 security cameras in Chinatown aren’t working, and the Honolulu Police Department has budgeted $100,000 to fix them.
That’s from KHON last night.
“Unfortunately with the salt air that’s in the area, just the age of the cameras, they are in need of repetitive maintenance and upkeep,” Capt. William Axt told the station.
