But many are also multi-taskers, working on their laptops, iPads and smart phones. From my vantage point in the House gallery, I can see that many of those laptops appear plugged into the Capitol’s website. I say “appear” because I can’t see the screens too clearly, though.

Question: Are lawmakers allowed to checkout Facebook and other sites on their laptops while in session? I don’t know.

One other observation: Rep. Bob Herkes is holding onto a stuffed duck — named “Quack,” I’m told.
