Nago testifies that the Office of Elections has not come up with any contingency plans since the lawsuit was filed April 6.

“We just continue with the elections process,” he testified.

“You understand that the court may order you to use a different plan … and the court could do so on an expedited or short time frame?” Thomas asked.

Nago replied yes.

Thomas asks about a recent funding request the Office of Elections has made to the Legislature.

Nago explains that the money, which has been approved, is to be used “in the event that plan needs to be redone and the Reapportionment Commission needs to meet to come up with a new plan.”

Thomas has no further questions.
