I keep an eye on all the petitions that are filed with the Honolulu City Council, and there’s an interesting one today with more than 200 signatories — all since Saturday morning.

The subject line: “Please move rail forward!”

The text of the message, identical in every email: “I support HART funding and want to see the rail project move forward without delay. Please support funding for rail at Wednesday’s council meeting.”

Will that be a factor as the council considers HART‘s budget and the bill to increase the city’s line of credit and give rail access to it?

All will be revealed tomorrow.
