Akaka Urging End to Gay Male Blood Ban

Sen. Daniel Akaka is a dozen Democrats in Congress who have signed a letter urging the Department of Health and Human Services to review the federal ban on blood donation by men who have ever had sex with another man, according to Instinct Magazine.
