The grant will pay for science museums and planetariums. It was one of 18 projects chosen from among 63 proposals made nationwide.
Pacific Business News reports:
The money will enable the Honolulu museum to collaborate with the state Department of Education, an advisory team, and national and local NASA organizations in the creation of a STEM Network for Hawaii to address needs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
