Carlisle’s sixth fundraiser, scheduled for July 19, is at the home of campaign chair Charlene Thompson and is asking $500 per person, according to a filing with the Campaign Spending Commission. The seventh fundraiser is set for Aug. 1 at the Modern Hotel in Waikiki and is asking for $100 per person.
Caldwell will hold his sixth fundraiser of the election — a sushi and sake affair — tomorrow night at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii, according to a flyer (below). He’s asking for $75 apiece — and $25 more if you want to taste the premium sake.

Ben Cayetano has held two fundraisers so far this year and has said he expects to be outspent by his opponents 20-to-1. The campaign finance reports due in July will give voters their first look at Cayetano’s money picture.
