After learning of Civil Beat’s poll that shows Case and Mazie Hirono, his opponent in the Democratic primary, tied, a headline on the blog site was “HI-Sen: Odious blue dog Ed Case tied with Hirono?”

This guy is a major ass. Progressives need to Donate to Hirono’s campaign, unless they want a new Joe Lieberman just as we’re getting rid of the current one. And Obama needs to get on board and endorse Hirono right away, he’d have tons of influence in the state. If Ed Case wins, this is already a Republican pickup, and that’s the last thing we need right now.
