Nick Grube reports for Inside Honolulu:
According to a press release, on Dec. 22, 2010 Anderson went to the city parking office to complain about a parking violation warning he received for letting someone other than himself park in his stall.
Witness said Anderson called the parking office’s allegations “baloney” and said that since he pays for the stall he can let guests park there.
He then told the parking staff that he would bring back a bill he introduced in 2009 that would give oversight of the office to the council chair. Once that happens, Anderson is purported as saying, “We’ll see what happens to your job.”
