Roll Call has this report on VoteVets.org spending $50,000 on Wednesday (May 30) “to keep on air its TV ad supporting Honolulu City Councilwoman Tulsi Gabbard. The spot will now run for two more weeks.”

Excerpt:

On May 16, VoteVets.org reported spending $70,000 to air its ad on broadcast TV for 10 days. Including production costs, the group’s $140,000 investment is so far the only independent expenditure for the Aug. 11 Democratic primary.

The ad features several Iraq War veterans describing Gabbard’s biography, which includes military service and public office.
