The NAVY is holding meetings this week throughout the islands on its plans to conduct sonar and explosive testing in Hawaii waters. 

A recent environmental impact statement completed by the military indicates that the impacts of the testing on marine animals, such as whales and dolphins, is more harmful than thought. 

Public comments on the EIS will be taken at the following locations between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
