More familiar names filing to run with the latest candidate report — dated late Wednesday (May 30) — from the Hawaii State Elections Office.

They include these Senate incumbents seeking re-election: Shan Tsutsui, Roz Baker, Suzanne Chun Oakland, Clarence Nishihara (who faces former House Rep. Alex Sonson), Will Espero and Jill Tokuda.

On the House side they include Calvin Say, Clift Tsuji, Kyle Yamashita, Jimmy Tokioka, Sylvia Luke, Karl Rhoads, Aaron Ling Johanson (the lone Republican among all these Democrats), Linda Ichiyama, Mark Takai, Henry Aquino, Rida Cabanilla, Sharon Har, Karen Awana and Jo Jordan.
