A new study shows the federal stimulus program’s $100 billion in education aid helped save and create jobs, Ed Week reported today.
The Center on Education Policy did a series of surveys looking at the effect of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on education. The research group found that 52 percent of school districts with funding cuts were able to make up the shortfall using stimulus money.
