Politico and CNN are both reporting that House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid will announce Tuesday (July 31) that they’ve agreed on a six-month extension to fund the federal government.
The deal, if consummated, would mean there will be no shutdown before the November General Election.
