Kelli Abe Trifonovitch of the University of Hawaii will host a panel discussion on education that will premiere on at 8 p.m., Sunday, on FOCUS 49.

Olelo Community Media is dedicating hundreds of hours to election programming as part of the “Vote Informed” campaign on its four channels through November.

There are several different topics planned, each with multiple air times, ranging from traffic and rail to sustainability and unfunded liabilities.

The education show will feature: Dee Jay Mailer, CEO of Kamehameha Schools; Joan Husted, former executive director of the Hawai‘i State Teachers Association; Stephen Schatz, assistant superintendent for strategic reform for the Hawai‘i State Department of Education; and Kathy Bryant, communications coordinator of Hui for Excellence in Education (HE‘E).
