Allowing voters to register on Election Day, easing visa restrictions for Chinese visitors and strengthening laws for recycling electronic waste are two items Honolulu City Council members plan to discuss Tuesday afternoon.
Both topics, which will be voted on during a 1 p.m. Committee on Executive Matters and Legal Affairs meeting, are potential candidates to make it into the Hawaii State Association of Counties‘ annual legislative package.
If approved by HSAC members, the association will lobby for the proposals during the upcoming legislative session.
