Republican Senate candidate Linda Lingle will be endorsed by the Hawaii Restaurant Association, according to a media advisory put out by her campaign. The email says the group is “recognizing her steadfast support of small businesses in the restaurant and tourism industry in Hawaii.”

The endorsement will be unveiled at 3:30 p.m. Thursday (July 12) at Morton’s Steakhouse.

That’s not the only good news from the Lingle camp. She announced that she raised $1,134,588 between April 1 and June 30, giving her a total haul of $4.25 million in this election.

“I am very grateful for the strong financial and grassroots support the people of Hawaii and across the country continue to show for my campaign,” she said in a separate press release.

The campaign filed its complete quarterly fundraising report with the Federal Elections Commission. It was due by July 15.
