Mayoral Debate on KITV, CD2 Debate On Community Access

Ben Cayetano, Peter Carlisle and Kirk Caldwell will square off Wednesday (July 11) from 7-8:30 p.m. on KITV. Civil Beat is co-sponsoring the Honolulu mayoral debate (which means I have to wear a jacket and tie).

UPDATE: Because of a contract dispute that has temporarily taken KITV off the air, Hawaii News Now has graciously agreed to broadcast the debate across all its platforms including KHNL, KGMB, KFVE and on HawaiiNewsNow.com.

Also Wednesday, from 7-8 p.m., Mufi Hannemann, Esther Kiaaina and Bob Marx — Tulsi Gabbard is not confirmed — will participate in a 2nd Congressional District debate sponsored by Ahahui Siwila Hawaii O Kapolei and community partners. It will air live on Olelo, Ka Leo, Hoike and Akaku.
