It’s been eight months since the state health department sent samples of Pacific blue marlin fish jerky to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for testing.

Officials decided to test the samples after a California physician released a study that said Hawaii fish samples contained dangerous levels of mercury. 

The results are finally in and will be released soon, according to DOH. Civil Beat will bring you the story.
