Civil Beat has posted candidate survey for folks running for the 2nd Congressional District, including an overview of the top four Democrats in the race.

But there are eight people running for the seat, and we managed to survey most of them. Good stuff, too.

For example, here’s what Republican Kawika Crowley had to say about the use of drones:

You damn right I support this policy. Due Process? We’re in a WAR for cryin’ out loud! Collateral Damage to civilians? I swear, had we fought WWII in the Politically Correct manner we fight our enemies today, we’d all be speaking German, Japanese, or Italian!!! BTW, only 2 things Obama has done right in his entire presidency is taking out the scumbag Ben Laden, and increasing the use of Drones.

Democrat Rafael Del Castillo (pictured), however, has a far different take:

I do not support the drone policy because I believe it presents a threat to our freedom and to peace. Drones are very seductive because we are freed from putting our fighting men and women in harms’ way, and preventing harm to our brave armed forces is something I passionately wish for. But drones provide terrorists and radicals with a powerful point for their sermons vilifying the U.S.
