Study: American Students Not Challenged in School

The Center for American Progress has found that elementary and high school kids in the U.S. are not being challenged in school despite popular opinion to the contrary.

The study notes that researchers increasingly believe student surveys can provide important insights into a teacher’s effectiveness. 

Hawaii is in the process of implementing a system that involves this very thing.
